Who Is Molly Crane?

Happy 4th to everyone! Since it is Independence Day I am declaring my independence to take a break and write about something that isn't Jericho related.

I recently had the great fortune of stumbling upon a blog that absolutely takes my breath away. I've seen beautiful blogs, helpful blogs, humorous blogs, and many other kinds in between. It is extremely rare that I return to a blog unless there's information I need or an author I've grown attached to for some reason. Here is the exception.

Please don't ask me to explain my fascination with this blog because I cannot. The Diary of Molly Crane is unlike anything I've ever read and that's saying a lot. I have been reading for many, many years so I've read thousands of books. Usually, I never read a book twice. Perhaps the appeal of Molly's diary is in the illusiveness of Molly herself. She's a person/character I'd desperately like to know but feel I never will.

Molly tells her readers, upfront, that she may or may not be a real person. It's left up to the reader to decide. Perhaps it depends upon one's perception of reality. It feels, at times, that I'm trying to grab an apparition.

Another part of the appeal of this diary is the emotion inherent in it. Molly experiences abandonment, pain, disillusionment, guilt, and a tortured unhappiness yet she can become excited about a new puppy.

I am not going to tell you more because I encourage you to read it for yourself. Please read from the beginning. Perhaps you will not experience the powerful attraction of her words as I do but I expect you will. I am attracted to Molly's diary in a way that is beyond my ability to explain. It draws me in, lets me go, then pulls me back to reread it again and again.

Molly, I thank you for this experience. Real or not matters nothing to me. What matters is that you sweep me away with your words. I thank you.

Thanks for the comment, jaya. I'm glad I'm not alone in my feelings. I hoped I wasn't alone in my fascination and I see I'm not.

Thank you for your support of my site. You have no idea how many folks have been against my blog! It is so nice to know someone enjoys my writing and my experiences. Best wishes to you both. ~Molly Crane

Molly,
Thank you for visiting. I cannot imagine anyone being against your blog. I introduced a friend to you today and she's as enthralled as I am. She, like me, started reading and couldn't stop.
I most certainly look forward to every entry.

The question is WHERE is Molly Crane? Do you know what happened to her blog?

Hey Guy,
I emailed her 2 days ago. No response. All I can figure is that she said people were sending her nasty comments so maybe she just decided to shut down. I really miss her. Her blog was my favorite. Let me know if you hear anything please.

OK, I left a comment somewhere else where I think I found her in the first place.
